The microgametes (m) are round, 15-25µm, with peripheral lightly basophilic granules. Within the lumen, there are macrogametes (M), characterized by a size of 20-50µm, a central nucleus, prominent nucleolus, and brighty eosinophilic 3-4µm peripheral granlues. Numerous oocysts (o), often with collapsed refarctile walls, are also seen.
